I combine strong architecture, technical leadership and analysis and design skills with a software engineering background that includes complex systems integration, bespoke software development and enterprise package implementation.
During my career I have taken architecture, analysis, design and development roles on projects and programmes in the finance, retail, government and manufacturing sectors. I have worked in a variety of roles in these organisations, including:
- setting up and leading a cross-functional Enterprise or Solutions Architecture team;
- carrying out the Enterprise Architecture role for a department, domain, or the whole organisation;
- carrying out the Solution Architect role for a major project or programme;
- overseeing, mentoring and quality-assuring the work of other architects.
My systems development experience ranges from small systems for specialised users up to very large corporate applications for financial institutions, high-street retailers and government departments.
My recent experience has focussed on leading teams to create architectural strategy and design, socialise and ratify it with stakeholders, and provide technology leadership, governance and support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to implementation.
